Southern MN | Not that I'm very successful at acquiring more ground, but in my opinion after reading your post I think you just need to sell yourself upon the landlord. Sell yourself as a good farmer and what your future plans are and how you'll take care of the land/community. Its like a job interview. Don't go at it from the perspective of bashing this other farmer, after all we just got some reprive from all those political ads bashing other policiticans, nobody needs to hear any more about how bad someone else is. Just sell yourself as a good farmer/tenant in a modest way and things will eventually work out. | |
