im sure all areas are different, but if one thinks there is zero yield difference between cob and coc, they have blinders on......and im a coc guy. in a good year, 0-10bu, in a tough year 20bu+....atleast around here, where a guy grew 170bu coc, there was 210 cob.....where there was 200 coc, there was 240-260 cob this year.....also where there was 100 coc there was 160-170 cob....like i said, im sure everywhere is different, but to say zero i think is alittle off......
there are guys with starter, and sidedress saying the same thing around here, im conv. with sidedress
