We've had it and personally I don't think it's worth the money. They want your credit card because once the 3 months is up they will automatically start charging you hoping that you will either be hooked on the service or forget that they are doing it.

The only thing we thought was worthwhile was when my Dad was getting up in years and still driving, we thought it might be good for him in an emergency, once he quit driving we canceled it. Anymore with smart phones etc you know where you are at. Their service doesn't magically work when cells don't, it works off the cellular system, in fact they will try to assign you a cell number and get you to use it, running up more charges. At least that's what they did for us.

As for road emergencies, most quality insurance companies have numbers you can call and be connected to local on road service companies to come fix things when you break down on the road.
