Have you looked at the suspension? I've spent some time at shows crawling underneath the 30/R series T's. To me it looks like it will dampen some of the shock but still can't cushion a bad impact the way it could. If the left track hits a 6" obstacle, it has no choice but for the whole side of the tractor to move up 6" because the pivot point for the suspension is on the LHS. If the right track hits a 6" obstacle, the air cushion can take some of the vertical movement away. So far, I'm not impressed.

Our farm is almost entirely JD by now but so far, when it comes to tracks, I still like the quadtracs more.
