| I'll say that I would do it, but would keep is slow (less than 30). I recently hauled a disc harrow that was rear heavy (not that terribly bad, at hitch height it would go down with about 50 lbs of force). I pulled it behind a 4 door 3/4 ton pickup with 1,000 lbs of added weight in the box. At 35 it would rock enough to make it feel very light in the rear, add in a little swaying and it could get hairy quickly. I drove between 30 and 35 most the time. I have hauled 450+ bushels behind a 1/2 ton pickup many times (no brakes on the wagon), so it's not like I'm completely ignorant on how to or scared to haul a large load behind a small pickup. But, you have to pay attention...it only takes a fraction of a second to ruin your's or someone else's life for ever. | |
