3/4 ton would be better but I bet you would be fine with the 1/2 ton we pulled a kent field cultivator 150 Miles with a 3/4 ton 45mph was top speed take a spare tire with you grease the transport wheel bearings you should be fine?..................do you have access to a semi truck?
