Every so often I'll hear a non-local pronounce Boise City the same as the town in Idaho. The "e" at the end is silent. Also, I was listening to Eddie Trunk's show on the radio a few days ago and was rather impressed that he pronounced Miami, Oklahoma as "Miamuh."
