Why do people from the South, educated and under-educated, pronounce Chicago.....Shi.cargo? I know one person, who shall remain nameless, that would correct me in a second if I did that kind of thing but she does it every single time, and has forever. No it isn't my wife. Same reason as winder=window, tar=tire, far=fire????
