My daughter is scheduled for back surgery in three weeks. She will be having a "cage" installed. They will go through the front for the first part and then finish up by going in from the back. Sounds pretty radical to me and involves a lot of healing time. The surgery will be done in Mason City, Iowa. Has anyone had any experience with this procedure?
