We run our 467 at around 1600 rpm on our 4440. Good machine that will run a long time and hold it's value from what I'm seeing. Very simple machine to operate, most problems have been our fault, baler usually goes to the field and stays in the field most of the time. If your baler still has the greasable slip clutch on the right hand side of the baler for the pick up, don't grease it. You can update to a newer style which will help any issues you have with your pickup slipping. Also we put the square pickup teeth on ours last a couple of seasons ago and they are much better IMO than the flimsy round ones it comes with. Can't really see getting rid of ours for a long time, when it makes such a good bale and its far from worn out with over 12000 bales on it. Good luck. Anybody here know if it's possible to update a 67 series with the roller infront of the pick up like the 68 series? JD mechanic said it isn't, are there any aftermarket add ons? Thanks.
