Central Missouri | Sounds like a Cargill policy proposal? Has demand been curtailed by 8 dollar corn. My answer is yes. Look at hog and cattle liquidation. Look at net imports for ethanol for the first time since 2009. Look at export sales. 2 of the 3 feed mills near me are using wheat instead of corn and have been for at least a month. The cash corn market is adjusting. I don't think govt policy changes until the sept numbers are figured by usda (unless they are doing a midmonth adjustment in quiet). As advanced as the corn crop is sept numbers should better reflect the crop. The answer imo if an answer is needed is to suspend new export sales for 6 months. It has been done by several countries in the past ccouple of years. jmo
