If it were me, I'd put those 4 in the fridge and eat them first. I know one of my caners says to soak the gasket in warm water before using. Possible that after 6 years the gasket is just bad from age. I'll ask the dumb question though...did you have the burner turned up? You could try a "dry run" and see if it'll come to pressure with nothing in it. Measure the water before and after to see if you have a large steam leak.
