I look to cook them three different ways.... I clean them and cook them with beef broth or beef bullion till they are nice and tender.... I also like to "fry" them with some butter and garlic, They will be a little crunchy still ... great for fresh green beans out of the garden..... Yummy but not exactly low in calorie... and I also really like them cooked with ham, potatoes, onions, and carrots all together in a big pot... Yummy.... I find most of the time that green beans are better the second day..... I like the green bean casserole also... To well ... I can eat the whole thing.... lol...
