Near-north Ontario, French River | Bulldozer, the worms ( we call them horn worms) aren't all that rare in Ontario. When we harvest grapes ( mechanical harvester) its not uncommon to find dozens of them in the bin when the harvester dumps. Used to see them fairly common in processing tomato fields as well. They come in a variety of colours, usually light or dark green , or an almost flesh colour. I've seen some that approached 6 inchs in length, but the tend to be in the 3-4 inch range |
