Ravenna Ohio | In my area that would take the drill rig, directional tool company, survey company, and state inspector to pull that off. In Ohio the leased area determines the path and td of the drill. The bore path must be part of the lease. It is possible to leave someone on the proposed edge out and shift the lease so that it leaves land sandwiched between leases. The owner ends up with land that can't be tied to another lease. But that would be the owners choice to stay out. I have a lease we have refused to sign because of lousy terms and the likelyhood of the drill pad on our land. I may get nothing in the long run. I can live with that. | |
