If you can find a 290 which will support the load at 15 psi, then it will be putting real close to the same pressure on the ground as the 1050 at 15 psi, and it will (unless you have somehow got the laws of physics overturned) be putting very close to the same pressure on the ground as the 1050. 

 

It's gonna take an EXTREMELY tall sidewall to allow enough deflection to get that much  surface area out of a tire that narrow, and I want to see the contact patch....if you can come up with a design for a tire to accomplish your claim, I think you will have something very valuable.  It will essentially be a pneumatic track.   Probably be a great idea, if you can only figure out how to make it work.
