Eastern VA. No such thing as too many Magnums. | Yukon XL or Suburban. A explorer came down an on ramp and smashed into the side of my wife's Yukon two summers ago. It put her on the two left tires for a while and then came back down. The explorer was towed and my wife drove on. My kids were fine, thanks to the fact that his carseat was higher than where the explorer struck his door. I'd hate to see what happened to a lesser vehicle with my kids in it. Forget about gas, you can buy more of that. Can you buy new kids? Get something that will win on defense. 5500lbs or more.
Edit: I forgot to add that the state trooper said the SUV's always win in the wrecks and thats why HIS family rode in a suburban.
