'Round here they had a RIM program, lump payment, in for life. Friend bought a property with 10 acres of retangular, flat, good land, can't farm it or graze it. Beautiful field. Has anothere 4 acres or so of hill & flood plain also in RIM, can see that.

They also have set up lots of restored wetlands around here, busted up the tile and built 3 foot levees, recreated cattails instead of the productive land it used to be.

Not like it's a big % of the land around here or anything, but - typically this would be the land that would be giving us top yield in a year like last year & this year, when the rain shuts off.
