Wallis, TX | Look at the pics, it is ruined, or at least severely damaged. His milo, like mine, is probably the best crop we ever raised, both in terms of pounds per acre, and in terms of price, now we are both watching it go down the tubes. And,,,, I do have insurance, but after all the YEARS of drought we have lowered our APH substantially.
It really don't matter if it burns up from drought or gets ruined by too much rain, either way its bad on the bottom line.
Edited to add; In 2007 the quality was so bad that after the 'zeroed out' grain was shredded down, there was virtually no regrowth from 6000# of grain, it was all rotted or sprouted in the head.
