north central ky | I finally got the nerve to go into some of my fields tonight. Just as i suspected, it is worse out in the field than on the edges. My earlier planted will definitely will be my best. I would be in a low place in the field looking at ears with 20 rows and 40 long and go 50 yards up a hill and find ears with maybe 10 kernals. For me it will just depend on how much bottom ground i have and at this point i am hoping for a decent bean crop. Oh, and the race horse varieties were not the winners on my ground this year, which was mostly what i planted. | |
