VT3 is worthless as far as RWB resistance, and I would say the smart stacks are about a year from being in the same boat........had about 60 acres destroyed by RWB (pretty much chewed up entire root system and I was looking at a large amount of beetles (8 to10 per plant) before the plane came through) As far as the Smart stack variety, root system as been pruned and will affect yield on this dry summer.........both were Monsanto companies. One of the branches that came to look at it told me not to worry they would take care of me, other branch has been down looking but has yet to say a word about standing behind the product they claim is resistant.......either way its just an ugly mess
