The Far East...of Nebraska. | I was barely alive in the 80's, by age, not health reasons. I got a sense of how bad the 80's were when I realized dad didn't talk about them. When I asked once if he wanted to go to an auction, he said no. I didn't get it, and asked why not? He just said, they bring back memories and make me sad. How little he said made me realize some things. He also mentioned his own dad didn't enjoy sales either after seeing so many guys quit during the 30's. I've never been through it, and I'm lucky for that. Please don't hold that against my generation (unless somebody asks for it). |
