Take the crop progress report, good to excellent, and then look at the avg yields of the states in the report.  It looks to me like some states with very high yields are sitting not so good, and some states with lower yields are sitting better on the good to excellent scale.  Tells me that avg yields are gonna trend lower, maybe a lot lower than USDA anticipates.
