| we put on 300 miles through eastern Kansas yesterday from KC down to Fredonia and back a different route. Just guessing that at the very most you could say 40% of normal would be a stretch for the average of the whole trip. Some areas probably a little better but some that have very few ears and they are cutting silage already.
Personally I would be surprised if we end up with much over 20 or 25 fence to fence on our corn. Rain would not do the corn any good at all, milk line is half way down, lot of dry leaves, ears starting to turn over. Will be flat on the ground before it gets dry. Beans remain to be seen, rains will help but it is going to take a lot of rain to get water around live roots, not just a few tenths.
