| How are things in Iowa boatload? We had nice looking corn till it decided to start tasseling the first day we hit 105. Too say the least most plants don't have any ears to fill out. Did things pollinate before or during the heat up there? Saw that happen here in 1980 and knew it could, but I was still in HS and hoped I would never see it. My Dad never planted corn again after 1980. If I remember right that corn with no ear stood pretty and green all fall. Could not kill the stuff. | |
