| I was going to ask this very same question. However, I'm thinking Clay has it right. Just too much stacked against another huge corn acre year; seed production, fertilizer prices, weather scare, Government price interference (a guess), demand Darwinism. These should all point to fewer corn acres next year. I don't think that will be enough to save the price (short of another drought), but it should put a bottom on things to keep us from falling back to $2.00.
So where will the production move to? I'm thinking soybeans. I'll go ahead and predict a record soybean planting for 2013. $.02 | |
