Dalhart, Texas
We do not get heat and wind every year, just most, with the last two taking the cake. I am amazed at the people worried about pollinating in the heat. We do it every year! Yes, you might get a brief cool spend once in a great while, but in general we are hot. I am not ridiculing people by any means, but if you have ample moisture in the soil during pollination you will be ok. I agree on the under 700 gallons well fields looking like last year. Our southwest sides are looking tough along with some other spots.
