...sometimes you have to accept that your best efforts aren't going to be good enough.

In my former life, I traveled quite a bit in SW Kansas, and I learned a lot from those guys. The non-irrigated farmers in that area are pretty good at turning limited rainfall into grain. But there are limits.

So...if we want to see what our farms will look like in 20 gears or so, we should take a trip to Ag areas about 3-500 miles to the southwest. I hope I'm wrong, but that's probably where our climates are headed.
