I bet that did suck having 2011 as your 1st year. This year hasn't been much better, although we started out better with more profile moisture. I've only seen or heard of a few abandoned fields over here this year. Any fields with less than 700 gal are uneven height just like last year. This cool front and hopefully rain will be literally a million dollar rain for lots of guys over here. Lots of pictures and notes and emails are great tools to learn from 2011 & 2012.
New respect for Texas, ok, and ks grain farmers.
