Tablerock Ranch eastern Wa | Feb 2008 saw $24 spring wheat Minneapolis, same stuff we raised for $6 many years, many corn growers wont entertain the idea that we have a commodity that has risen to great demand on the world stage and extreme prices are always a possibility, like the price run up in 08 we almost surely will see new record prices this season, I wish we could all be there when it happens, but when my neighbors trucks were hauling in 08 I was sold out and could only watch, if you have a failure this year I hope you find old crop to sell, or at any rate have a great crop with a good price next year. |
