First place to start is the boots. Yours aren't letting your feet breathe enough. You aren't wearing rubber boots are you?

When you take a break during the day, like for lunch. Get the boots off, let your feet dry, put on clean socks.

If you don't take any breaks, change your socks a couple of times a day.

Make sure you wash socks in hot water, or even better, steam.

Use aluminum acetate solution to dry out the feet and help heal them. This is particularly important at first since the athelete's foot infection seems to encourage the feet to produce more moisture.

Work your feet over to remove dead skin.

For chemical control use athelete's foot products, and use them religiously for a couple of months. Read that as meaning continue to treat for several weeks after the feet seem fine. Sprays and creams both work but you must make sure you get coverage. A skip on your feet works about like a skip in your field.

Get different boots and get a couple of pairs so you can let them dry completely. You say you wear a boot from very early to very late each day, so you are sticking your feet into an already wet boot every day. If you just won't get more than one pair, get a boot dryer such as some use in the winter. http://www.cabelas.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=722473&destina...
