I 2nd msb. I had a problem during summers wearing steel toed boots. Doctor said to have a chance preventing it you need to have 2 pairs of boots. They don't fully dry out overnight. Once you get it under control, that is the easiest way to prevent it.
Why not try a boot dryer? I use one in the winter for hunting boots and snowmobile boots.
