What I think some of you dont understand is those of us in areas where the weather is usually unfavorable cannot buy ins. for those rates. It would cost me ten times that much money for that amount of coverage.
I fully understand that and that is why I put "here" in bold in my post. I don't see how anyone here wouldn't take any coverage but some people don't. And there is a reason ours is so much cheaper and that is because it rarely pays out. A lot of areas with low APHs would pay out much more often which is why the premiums are higher. | 
How many here do NOT have crop insurance?
