South cental Ohio | Any ideas on what I can plant here in Ohio for a hay crop? Kinda tired of alfalfa and messing with it 4 or 5 times a year. Just wanting some kind of beef cattle feed and maybe sell a few bales to horse people. I took my wheat off and I have the whole rest of the fall to plant my hay. I usually double crop soybeans but I am needing a new hay field so I'm sacrificing $15.00 beans to get a hay field started lol. I've had some thimothy in the past but it peters out in just a few years. Just thought I'd ask you guys. Thanks. | |
