Republic OH (NC OH) | i have dislocated my right shoulder 26 times. the first 3 times
the er doctor put it back and the rest i have done myself. most of
these occurred between my early 20 and late 30 thirties, now 52.
i had some therapy and would say it will help especially being your
first one. for me my shoulder tells when i can do stuff. if it hurts
don't use it. it doesn't seem to hurt as bad if you don't lift your
arm above your should. wear your sling, the support does help
i don't have any limitations in movement or strength. my right is
better than my left as it has rotor issues. i am left handed and
it is weaker than my right one.
i would follow up with the dr and get some therapy and use it sparingly.
