| I agree it is because the corn the previous year used more moisure later in the season or at least that is the case around here anyways, I was going to have 100 A COC but with the runup in bean prices this spring and the fact I didn't have enough fertilizer bought I deceided to plant beans instead and thank god as the COC really "looks" terriable around here, i also have about 450 acres of corn on bean ground that had a really bad hail storm come thru on August 19 last fall basically killed the beans as they only yeilded 5-10 bushel today the corn on that ground "looks" better that similar ground where the beans yeild better only thing I can come up with is that the beans used very little to no moisture last fall thus leaving a little for reserve for now. | |
