SW KS, near Dodge City | Been a long time since I did it, spent a lot more time making block walls... And re-making other people's block walls who somehow always seemed surprised when their 6' tall wall collapsed after getting about 4" of rain, and soaking the fill dirt behind it, b/c they didn't put any drainage tile or rock behind it... Uhhh, you know that wet soil weighs about double what it did when you backfilled it, and that wall has to hold that too? Always got a blank look on that.
