SE Michigan | Cannot comment on the Ranger. I bought a new 2012 Gator this January, have about 12 hours on it now.

Bench seat
power
front and rear hitch (great for pushing wagons in the barn)
speed (some UTV's are faster, but it's plenty fast for me)
Dis-like:
Very hard to work on (oil change) the bed does not tilt back very far for regular service
Over-all very happy with it. I did have an issues with a very loud squeal when starting cold, but afte talking to the dealer, the factory did not tighten the alt belt enough, about a 5 min job to fix, | |
