East Central Kansas | We recently bought a 825i Gator, looked seriously @ Ranger until we found out that Ranger is available only with a NON-ADJUSTABLE bench seat. I'm short legged and didn't want to feel like a little kid driving dads pu(sitting on the edge of the seat, hanging on the steering wheel for support). Went with the Gator with adjustable bucket seats. Like it so far, approx 200mi. I do wish it had engine braking on steep descents and power steering would be nice when using a spray wand and steering one-handed. I like the front receiver hitch for backing trailers into sheds, its about 400lbs heavier than the ranger so it has more push/pull than a Ranger while only sacrificing 100lbs of payload. Hopefully we won't need it but I think dealer support will be better from Deere.
Nephew has had a Ranger for at least a year and likes it. Been back to the dealer with it at least once.
