SW MN | I have the all 3 motors 6.2, 6.0, 6.6 Duramax. The rear ends make the difference. The 6.0 has more power cause it has the 3.73 rear gear imo, the 6.2 has 3.42 rear gear. The 6.2 will downshift more while pulling. The 6.2 will get 16.5 mpg to 16 mpg just running around the 6.0 get 13.5 mpg. The Duramax gets most of the pulling duties. My choice would get get the half ton with the 6.2, much better ride than the 3/4 tons.. Make sure you get the 3.73 rear end if available.
