Yes, a sniff of NH3 can literally take your breath away. I've used it for over 12 years. Biggest advantage is cost. It is the cheapest form of nitrogen. 82% of the applied product is nitrogen (anydrous ammonia). Most guys here put it on with the seeding operation but I still do mine separate. Some springs it is a big advantage to work the soil anhydrousing prior to seeding to warm it up a little. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DMcuyvR_B60
