The Montag pwn valve and raven encoder will integrate into the jd dry-rate controller. You need a 37 pin connector from JD and place the 5 wires from Montag into the right slot. Or you can order the wire harness from Ag Express out of Desmoines IA with the 37 pin connector and Montag wires made. On the display (2630) you use the box spreader pwm valve window. The Montag PWM valve has a frequency of 110Hz and I think many have used 122 as an input as well. The conveyor speed is calculated this way for use with the Montag 22(top sprocket teeth) X 36 (encoder value how many pulses per revolution can be 180 on some) / 14 (bottom sprocket teeth) which equals 56.6. 56.6 is what you will want to put in the place for conveyor speed. I think 5023 or 5013 for the control valve calibration. The CFR(cubic ft per revolution) 2 in standard=.0016 and 2 1/2 in high out put =.0032 (this is Montag's calculation). You set the high in low by upping the rate until the shaft will not turn any faster and same for the turning the rate down until it stops. You can also hook up the fan to see the speed or rpm which will show on the display as spinner speed. The 2630 will do prescriptions . The dry-rate controller from JD is 1200 or so. A raven 660 is 1800 or so which is what the Montag is set up for. So if you have a 2630 its a no-brainer not too mention one less display to look at.
