work for a grain opperation... tell the farmer your plans and explain to him this is mostly a learning opportunity for him. offer to work for a reduced rate if he is willing to teach you management/real life agronomy skills.
there is nothing worse then a salesman (in any industry not just farming) trying to act like they know what there talking about....
