A little prepacked first aid kit is a great start - but I add one of the following to it to handle a more serious injury:
First aid kit in each truck plus at least one each of the following:

ABD 5x9 trama pad, 1" co-ban (same sort of thing as horse leg bandage material) is a great start for fairly serious injuries.

Israli combat dressings are also very good. - vacuum packed take up very little room.
