SW KS, near Dodge City | I think the enforcement has changed. We're basically the first generation that they're dropping the hammer on in a huge way. But how many older guys tell stories about the cop pulling them over and then having a buddy drive the rest of the way, or just telling them to be careful? Or following them home, and even in some cases, giving them a ride home? Cops now are looking to try to write DUI's. The Manhattan, KS police chief's quote in the paper about DUI arrests "We pull most of them over for tag lights not working or failing to signal a lane change."
