So. IL | You can save alot like others said. 2 years at a local college, get the small stuff out of the way. Next, find a 4 year college to transfer to, prefer it be within a hour from home. Make them get up and drive it every day. Housing/Food/Utilities can easly double the college bill if the think they need to live close to school. When I first told my brother this, he got all mad and stormed off. I asked where he planned to work after school, he named a place about an hour away, and said he would drive it every day. I then explained to him its no different driving to school for 1 hour a day. He took my advise and ended up spending 26k for his education and got his masters in accounting and now a cpa. It can be done on the cheep, just need to get creative. | |
