North of London | You hit the nail on the head Chris.
Too many go to college for a piece of paper rather than a marketable education.
Just like some farmers do buy expensive machines that look pretty sitting in the yard but do not pay the bills some students and parents buy expensive pieces of paper that will not help make a living.
It is the buyers choice.
There are capable people who do well in life without an education by maybe picking up a specialized course where and when necessary.
Unfortunately it is often hard to get a foot in the door with out some kind of 'piece of paper'. The purchaser of the education paper needs to look at it as an investment and spend their $ on what will pay off. they still have to work after they get it though. | |
