I feel for you and your family. My worst memory of mom is her looking at me and repeatedly asking 'where is Tim'? Then looking at my son and asking 'where is your dad'? I dealt with it by staying away as much as possible. I know that sounds cold hearted but I couldn't take it. All I can say is be strong and supportive of you wife, it will be hard on her.
