Subject: Re: Saltwater disposal wells

SW North Dakota
Bought a quarter of land about 20 years ago not far from me where a abandon well was drilled prior to that... to this day (on the so called reclaimed area) where the rig and disposal pit where, nothing will grow not even weeds... bare as a babys bottom it is.. It is just not salt brine they pump down these holes, it a host of chemicals that we haven't even heard of, including frac fuilds, drilling fluid with heavy metals, etc.... God forbid when all this crap comes bubbling to the surface. Even though they say with all the rock structure between the disposal formation that it is safe, but with the thousands of pounds of pressure they pump the fluid down it has to go somewhere..... Isn't that the same principle as fracing is??
