| Is Chesapeake puting it in? Secondly, are they turning the Schoch well into a disposal, or drilling a new disposal well for the Schoch well? At any rate it will be at least a month before the well can actually be used for a disposal. The company putting it in has to get permission from the oil and gas commision, and there will be a hearing on the request. If you have questions you may want to go to the hearing for it. If you go to the ND Oil and Gas Commision web site and go into the hearing dockets, the day for the hearing will be posted. It will be at least in May, as the April hearings are done, and it was not in the April hearings.
The other posters are right that you don't have a whole lot of options other than going to the hearing and trying to argue that the disposal is unneeded or is in a spot that could be problematic, such as a low spot or near water. | |
